I have been listening to this mix for the last 20+ years, yet I still don't know all the sources used to put it all together, and I may never. It reminds me of joining the Soul Strut message board. It reminds me of getting really excited about the most mundane (overall) lps that have 30 to 90 seconds of brilliance contained somewhere within. There are in-jokes that I am probably not in on and voice messages from humans who seem to be on the fringes of whatever they are dealing with. This mix will teach you about the best Spirit song and is not too cool to drop some Zep on you. Salute to Tony Tripledouble and international pop gigolo Diplo for this amazing sound collage.
